Brown Sugar Muffins

Ingredients
1/2 cup melted butter1 egg1 cup milk1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla2 cups flour1 cup brown sugar1/4 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon cinnamon1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease/line your muffin cups.
2. Beat together the butter, egg, milk, and vanilla.
3. Combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Add slowly to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
4. Mix in the nuts by hand (don’t over mix).
5. Fill the muffin cups 2/3 full and bake for 20-23 minutes, or until the tops are set. Allow to cool in the muffin tins before removing.
