Clean Eating's Crockpot Chicken Barley Stew

Ingredients
32 oz chicken broth1 C water1 tsp garlic1/2 Tbsp thyme1/2 Tbsp basil1/2 Tbsp cilantro2 bay leaves1/2 Tbsp ground pepper12 oz chicken breast1/2 C dried black eyed peas1 med onion, chopped20 oz potatoes, peeled and cubed10 oz carrots diced8 Tbsp sour cream or greek yogurt, not calculated into calories**
Directions
Fill slow cooker with broth, water and herbs. Add chicken, peas, barley then layer onion potatoes and carrots on top. Liquid should just cover the ingredients. Cover and cook 4-6 hours. Remove bay leaves and stir before serving.

Dollop with 1 Tbsp yogurt if desired.
