Minnesota Pea Salad

Ingredients
peas, 10 oz bag frozen peas1/2 large onion, chopped (or 1/2 bunch green onion for a subtler flavor and less onion breath at work)Fresh dill, 5-10 sprigs chopped very fineCheddar cheese, 3 oz, cubed (1/4 inch cubes)A few squeezes of lemon (optional)SaltPepper
Directions
Thaw peas (we run them under hot water for a minute if we forget to thaw them on the counter ahead). Mix all the other ingredients together in a bowl adding cheese last, then add peas.
