Cheesy Mexican Bubble Bake

1 lb ground chuck1 onion chopped1 c medium salsa (any brand)1c red taco sauce (any brand)1 can Pillsbury Grands Biscuits1 c shredded Montery Jack Cheeseshredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, olives, and/or green onions (if desired)
makes 8 2inchx3inch slices
heat oven to 375 degrees
brown ground beef with 1 chopped onion, add salsa and red taco sauce, spoon into ungreased 13x9 inch glass baking dish, separate dough into 8 biscuits and cut each biscuit into 8 pieces, add to ground beef mixture. using rubber spatula, stir, coating biscuit pieces, spread evenly in dish. Bake about 25 min. or 'til sauce is bubbly and biscuits are golden brown. sprinkle cheese over top and bake an additional 10 to 15 min. longer or til the cheese is bubbly. Top individual servings with salsa and desired toppings.
