Ingredients
Directions
Devained and De-tailed Shrimp, 8 ozWhole Wheat This Spaghetti, 8 oz (half the box)Fresh Garlic, 5-6 clovesSliced Onion, 1/2 cupExtra Virgin Olive Oil, 5 tbspButter/Margarine, 2 tbsBasil (dry), 1 tbspOregano (dry), 1 tbsp
First, cook the pasta per the package instructions. Make sure the noodles are about half way done before you start cooking the shrimp.
Start by heating the olive oil in a pan. Once hot, add the crushed garlic cloves and sliced onions and sautee until they are a light brown color. Now add the butter/margerine (whichever you decided to use). Once the butter is melted, add the shrimp and other seasonings. Cook the shrimp until they are pink and done to your liking. Once they are hot, add the cooked whole wheat noodles to the skillet and toss in the "sauce". I covered the skillet and let the noodles soak up the flavor for about 5 minutes. Uncover and serve!
