Ingredients
HEB Italian Sausage - 5 links, cut into 1/2 inch slicesOnions, raw - 1, choppedGarlic, - 3 cloves, minced Parsley - 1/2 cup choppedSwanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free - 1 cup Hunt's Diced Tomatoes - 1 canPeas, frozen - 1 (10 oz) package, thawedBasil - 2 tsp. choppedParmesan Cheese, grated - 1/2 cup
Directions
Brown sausge onboth sides inlarge skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion, garlic and parsley; saute until onion is tender. Add broth, tomato, peas and basil. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until peas are tender. (Cooking longer will enhance flavor.) Sprinkle withparmesan cheese.

    Beautiful! Great taste/texture. I altered it to make a single serving; 1 mild Italian sausage link, 1/2 med onion, 1/2 cup of parsley, 1/4 cup of mushroom, 3 garlic cloves, 1/2 fresh tomato and 1.5 tbsp of tomato paste and approx 1/2 cup of broth. 45g (uncooked) pasta and 28g of asiago and pepper. - 8/26/09
