Whole wheat light Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients
1 lb. Whole wheat spaghetti4 slices turkey bacon, chopped1 cup onion, diced6 oz white wine (or chicken broth, if desired)1 cup egg substitute5 oz grated parmesan cheese
Directions
Start water boiling for pasta in large pot. Add pasta when boiling well, and cook until desired tenderness.

Meanwhile, in large non-stick skillet on med-high heat, saute onions in oil for 5 minutes. Add chopped bacon, cook 5 more minutes or until bacon is cooked. Add wine or broth, and boil for 1 minute.

Pasta should be done now. Add hot pasta to skillet and stir in. Turn off heat, stir in egg substitute quickly, then cheese. Serve immediately. Makes about 10 1-cup servings.
