Classic Green Monster:1 cup almond milk or milk of choice1 ripe banana, preferably peeled + frozen2 handfuls spinach1 tbsp chia seeds or 1 tbsp ground flax1 tbsp nut butter (I used Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter)1-3 Ice Cubes(I also added a scoop of protein powder and that is figured into the calories)In blender: Start with the milk. Then add the chia seeds and nut butter (and protein powder). Next comes the spinach and then the banana to weigh everything down. Mix and drink!
Makes one two cup serving.
