Gooey and Sweet Baked Apple Treat

2 Cups sliced apple (peeled and cored)1 Tbsp Cinnamon3 tsp Brown Sugar 1/4 cup water1 pkg Quaker Instant Oatmeal 33% less sugar (Brown Sugar Cinnamon flavor) Not Prepared
Core and slice apples and place in baking dish. Combine brown sugar and water and pour over apple slices. Toss to coat. Sprinkle with cinnamon and Instant Oatmeal. Bake, uncovered for 15 minutes at 425F. Remove from oven and stir. Return to oven for an additional 10 minutes. Serve immediately or allow to cool before serving. Makes four servings.

I loved this receipe, not only for it's simplicity, but for it's taste. It was quick to make, even my 9 year old helped me. We "SPARKED" it up a little different by mixing in not only apples, but we added pears and peaches.. Stuff we had left over in the fridge.. WOW, it was awesome.. - 9/21/10
