I left the peel on the apples. I also didn't have the instant flavored oatmeal, so I added a little extra cinnamon and brown sugar with plain quick oats instead. I served this candlelight with my new hubby :) Very easy and impressive tasting! - 4/20/08

Very good, but, next time, I'll add more water. The apples didn't have enough moisture to cook all the way down to soft. They were aldente. Ok for some, not me. Also, I used Kashi maple and brown sugar instant oatmeal for extra fiber. - 1/18/09

I made this with peaches instead of apples and it turned out soooo good. I love peach cobbler so will definitely be making this again. Who knows, maybe I will even try with apples one day. - 8/22/09

Had a craving for apple cobbler and this hit the spot! A wonderful guilt free dessert. I used Granny Smith apples and liked the combination of sweet and slightly sour from the apples. - 10/27/08

I loved this receipe, not only for it's simplicity, but for it's taste. It was quick to make, even my 9 year old helped me. We "SPARKED" it up a little different by mixing in not only apples, but we added pears and peaches.. Stuff we had left over in the fridge.. WOW, it was awesome.. - 9/21/10

I left the peel on the apples. used the Maple & brown sugar flavour oatmeal. Had to add more water because apples went dry and would have burnt if more moisture was not added. Taste ok - needs something Not sure what. - 1/17/16
