Shrimp in Garlic Sauce

Ingredients
1/3 cup olive oil4 garlic cloves, cut into thin slices1 bay leaf1/4 tsp dried red pepper flakes2 pounds large shrimp shelled3/4 tsp. sea salt1/4 tsp. black pepper3 tbsp. sherry or dry white wine2 tbsp. lemon juice2 tbsp. dry parsley
Directions
In large frying pan, heat the olive oil over moderate heat. Add the garlic, bay leaf, and red pepper flakes and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the shrimp, salt and black pepper to the pan and stir to combine. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are just done 4 to 5 min. Stir in sherry, lemon juice, and parsley.

Serve over rice.
