Ingredients
2# beef sirlion roastGarlic, 3 clove minced (1tsp dry)Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) chopped (1tsp dry)red pepper flakes 1tspDry Basil, .5 tbsp Oregano, ground, .3 tbsp Salt, 1 tsp Pepper, black, 1 tsp Italian Seasoning 1tspFennel seed, .5 tsp bay leaves 3Beef broth 3 cup 16- 1oz Whole Wheat Dinner Rolls 16 oz Provolone Cheese, 1 oz slices
Directions
put beef and all seasonings plus beef broth in crockpot. turn on low and let it go. i like to cook it the night before so the seasonings get stronger, i remove the bay leaves before putting into fridge tho. I have dbled the amount of meat and seasonings and it turns out just the same. 16 mini sandwiches. 1 roll, 1oz cheese, 2oz meat (may want to weight as meat changes weight during cooking) weigh broth to divide equally. i always weigh the finished product especially with beef since it is so high calorie and can lose fat weight.
