No sugar buttermilk cornbread

Ingredients
1.5 cups cornmeal (yellow or white)3 heaping tbsp flour1 tsp soda1 tsp salt2 cups buttermilk1 egg2 tbsp vegetable oil
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl until well-blended. Bake in a 9x9-inch square pan or 9-inch round cake pan at 450 for about 20 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick or knife. Makes eight servings.
