Savory beef Stew

Ingredients
2.5 - 3lbs of cubed beef (Love the costco stew meat)1 cup of Beef Stock1 cup of dry red wine2 oz of Tomato paste.25 cup of flour2 tsp of Montreal Steak Seasoning (or too your liking)cup of Carrots (sliced) use baby carrots if your prefercup of pearl onionscup of mushrooms1 potato, Diced (not to small)3 cloves of garlic, chopped - I like to use the bottle diced garlic.
Directions
Put flour and steak seasoning in a zip loc bag and add beef cubes. Shake to coat
Place olive oil in a pan and cook meat (in batches if necessary) about 10 minutes until brown.
Move the meat to the crock pot and put onions, mushrooms, carrots, garlic and diced potato on top.
return Pan to heat and add beef stock, wine and tomato paste. Scrape up the browned bits of meat, when heated through, pour over the meat and veggies in the crock pot and give a good stir.
Set the crok pot to 4-5 hours high or 8-9 hours low. i typically give it about 4.5 hours in my crock pot on high and it turns out perfect. Serve in a bowl with crusty bread if you like (Please note, berad not included in calories).
this is very filling and should make about 8 4oz servings.
