These muffins are delicious. I used cherry yogurt. This gave the muffins a hint of cherry flavor. Will make again.
I have also used vanilla yogurt in place of plain and peanut butter chips in place of chocolate chips. This was also delicious. - 1/27/11

Delicious! They were gone within a day. Actually usedmade more than 12 large muffins. I used 1 cup whole wheat flour and 1/2 cup white flour. I also used dark cocoa and dark chocolate chips. Probably make this again tomorrow. - 1/29/10

They might be a little more dense, but try it and let us know how it works!

These muffins were awesome! Good recipes in our house are called "keepers". My daughter tried one and said "KEEPER!!"! We used vanilla yogurt, sugar free chocolate chips and whole wheat flour and they were super! I really want to go get another right now!!! Thanks!!!! - 5/26/11

Overall these came out well. They were chewy and chocolatey. I think they could have used some butter and eggs. It didn't dawn on me 'til later that these were "healthier" muffins and THAT'S why the butter was left out! The batter made 18 muffins, maybe I have shallow tins. - 5/22/11

These were insanely good! I used vanilla yogurt though, cuz that's what I had, and it made them even sweeter! The whole family adores them, especially my honey! Thank you!!! - 1/14/10

I used whole wheat flour and splenda and fat free milk. my only complaint was that the recipe made too little batter (i like a good size muffin), so i ended up doubling it, and baking for an extra 5 minutes. came out yummy and passed the husband test! very chocolatey and delicious! - 10/18/09

I found these disappointing. They seemed quite stodgy with a mediocre flavour. I didn't find them worth the calories. I don't think I'll make them again. - 6/25/09

Do you think you may have overbaked or overmixed them?

Can you use ALL whole wheat flour and NO white flour? Or do you have to do 1/2 and 1/2? - 5/22/09

You could do all whole wheat, but they'll be kind of gritty. If you're going to, I'd recommend using whole wheat pastry flour.
