I used apple cider vinegar instead of lemon juice and it worked out very well. Even the toddler enjoys it! - 5/4/14

So simple so good! As a Diabetic cinnamon is so good for me. Sounds like a strange combination of ingredients but it really works. - 1/9/12

The taste reminded me of ginger ale. This makes lots and next time I would probably halve the recipe unless doing a meal for 10. I used sweeter apples than granny smith and it was sweet enough even with lemon. The lemon keeps the apple from browning or if it does the cinnamon covers. - 6/7/11
