White Chocolate Craisin Scones

In a small bowl mix 1/4 cup buttermilk1/4 cup whipping cream1 tsp almond extract1 tsp vanilla extract1 egg.In food processor mix2 cup white flour (I like white protein flour)1/2 cup sugar2 tsp baking powder.3/4 cup chilled butter1/4 white or dark chocolate chips 1/3 cup dried craisins1 Tbsp cream1/2 tsp almond extract1 Tbsp sugar
Mix the wet ingredients in a small bowl. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder in a food processor, add the butter, pulse until almost grainy. Add the mixed liquids (milk, cream, and egg, and extracts). Pulse a couple times- do not allow to come into a ball. Pour the crumbly mixture out onto a silicone mat (or wax paper). Add craisins and white chocolate chips. Knead about three times, form into a circle about one inch thick. Cut into 8 (388 cal each) or 12 (258 cal each) . Move carefully (with spatula) to a baking stone. Optional: Top with a tablespoon of cream mixed with egg substitute and a drop of almond extract. Sprinkle with sugar.
Cook 15-19 minutes depending on size of scone. Makes 8-12 three to four inch scones.
