Chicken Italian Style

Ingredients
2 medium onions (sliced)5 cloves garlic (minced)3 tbs olive oil2 (32 oz) cans tomato sauce2 (32 oz) cans crushed tomatoes6 split chicken breasts (with skin)White Rice (1serving per person)2 tbs italian seasoningsalt & pepper to taste
Directions
I use a 7 quart oven safe pot. Put olive oil in pan and heat to medium high. Brown the chicken on both sides, remove from pan. In same pan saute the onions until translucent. Add garlic, saute for another minute. Add sauce and crush tomatoes and spices, stir and bring to a simmer. Add in chicken and any juices that have drained out of the chicken. Put lid on pot, and put in oven at 375 for 1.5 hours. Prepare rice as instructed on package. Serve ontop of white rice - Serves Six. Nutrition information includes 1 breast (with skin) and 1 serving of white rice, and 1/6 of sauce.
