Ingredients
Directions
3 1/2 cups sugar3/4 cup milk 1 cup butter 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter 6 cups quick-cooking oats 2 teaspoons vanilla
In a medium saucepan combine sugar, milk, butter and cocoa. Bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes, stirring the entire time. Remove from heat and stir in other ingredients. Spoon cookies onto wax paper or foil (I just used two cookie pans), and allow to cool. Makes 26-30 1/4-cup scoop servings OR about 43 tablespoon scoop servings (nutrition info is for 26). The cookie size varies a lot - make sure to count your cookies to find out exactly how many servings you have :)

I remember making these in the 70's from PBS show
THE ELECTRIC COMPANY. It has been years so I mad them tonight had everything except oats. Ran to the store and bought rolled and not quick. They were good non the less. Hey Kids At Heart make them with the rolled and you can only have just one (lol - 7/5/09

Since I gave her the recipe, I can tell you its GREAT! If the mix seems too wet, you can always add more oats before it cools down. Be sure to make small batches, because its one of those things that you can't eat just one! Also, I prefer Old Fashioned Oats with it. I like the texture better. - 6/27/09
