1 lb. lean ground turkey (Jennie-O italian seasoned is good)chopped veggies, such as mushrooms, green onions, zucchini, green pepper)1 8-oz can tomato sauce (or pizza sauce)1/2 - 1 tsp. Italian seasoning1 c. shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese1 can reduced-fat crescent rolls
Brown turkey, seasoning lightly with salt,pepper,garlic powder, etc. If using Italian-seasoned turkey, skip the seasoning. Place in 9x13 pan. Chop assorted veggies to your liking and place over meat. Pour one can of tomato sauce over this. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over this. Add shredded mozzarella over this. For the "crust" open one can of crescent rolls, sealing perforations, and place on top. Bake at 350 for 15-20 min. or until crust browns.
