3/4 lb ground beef1/4 lb ground pork1 TBS finely chopped onions3 TBS butter2/3 C milk1/8 tsp of : allspice, ginger, nutmeg1 1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp white prpper1/2 tsp sugar
Sautee onions in butter til onions are clear. cool. Soak bread crumbs in milk til liquid is absorbed. Combine all ingredients. Shape into small balls. Sautee balls in skillet coated with butter til browned. Place balls in a heavy pot. Add water or broth or brown gravy to almost cover balls. Cook 30 minutes until balls are cooked through.
