Mom's Apple Walnut Cobbler

4 cups peeled, cored, sliced applesCOMBINE THESE 3 INGREDIENTS3/4 cup chopped walnuts1/2 c sugar1/2 tsp ground cinnamonMIX TOGETHER THESE INGREDIENTS1/2 c flour2/3 c melted Butter2 Eggs, beaten1/2 c evaporatead milK1 c sugar1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp baking soda
Preheat oven at 350.
Grease (or Pam) an 8X8 pan.
Peel, core and slice apples and place evenly in the pan
Mix the walnuts, 1/2 c sugar and cinnamon together. Sprinkle this mixture apples (saving some of it for the toping).
Mix together remaining ingredients (flour through baking soda), and spread evenly on the apple mixture.
Sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-nut mixture
Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
