Salsa (Homemade, Lone Star Style)

1 28oz can diced tomatoes, no salt added2 lg fresh tomatoes, diced3/4 c. chopped red or Spanish onion3 tbsp minced fresh jalapeno peppers (approx 2 peppers)1 tsp garlic powder1 small can tomato paste3 tbsp light olive oil3 tbsp cilantro, chopped1 tsp salt (more or less to taste)
Cut up all ingredients and add to food processor, mix for 10-15 seconds. Keeps in fridge in a sealed container for up to 7 days.
Makes about 7.5-8 cups in total. Serving size is approx. 1/4 cup and makes about 30 servings.
