Molasses bread

Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour1 cup all purpose flour1 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1/2 cup molasses1/2 cup granulated sugar1 1/2 cups milk
Directions
Makes 1 loaf, 12 servings

Mix together flours, baking soda and salt. Add molasses and sugar, mix well to combine. Add milk. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan (or just use the cooking spray with flour added). Bake for 1 hour at 325.

    I would very definitely try this with a few revisions. I would probably use Splenda instead of regular sugar. and nonfat milk in place of whole. Instead of being negative about recipes on here, I would rather be inventive and try to "healthify" things that sound good, but have too much fat or sugar. - 12/2/08
