Mrs. D's Easy Beef Lasagna

Ingredients
*1 pound lean ground beef*2 tbsp italian seasoning*2 cups fat free mozzarella*1 box Barilla No Boil/Oven Ready lasagna noodles*26 ounces Ragu Light -No Sugar Added Tomato and Basil sauce*1 cup water*15 ounces part skim ricotta cheese
Directions
1. Brown the ground beef with the italian seasoning. Drain.
2. In a large bowl, mix beef, ricotta, 1.5 cups mozzarella, 1 cup water and 16 ounces of Ragu sauce.
3. In a 13 by 9 pan, pour 4 ounces of Ragu sauce. 4. Layer 4 lasagna noodles on top of sauce. Layer 1/3 of the cheese/meat mixture onto the noodles. 5. Repeat (4 noodles, 1/3 mixture, 4 noodles, 1/3 mixture and final 4 noodles.)
6. Top with remaining 6 ounces of Ragu sauce and .5 cup mozzarella cheese.
7. Bake for 50 minutes at 375.
Makes 8 servings.

    I doubled the sauce, cheese, and meat but stuck to only one cup of water. I also used Jimmy Dean Sausage Crumbles as I was in a hurry and didn't want to brown/drain meat. I also prefer Prego brand over RaguThat is just a personal prefance. - 2/2/11

    I really liked this recipe. I made it tonight for dinner, the only thing I subbed was low fat cottage cheese for the ricotta, its just not my thing! Hubby loved it, will make it again! - 3/14/09
