Rhineland Sweet-Sour Cabbage

Ingredients
4 bacon slices, diced1/4 C packed brown sugar blend2 T all-purpose flour1/2 t salt1/8 t pepper1/4 C water1/4 C vinegar1 medium head red cabbage, shredded (about 8 cups)1 small onion
Directions
In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp, reserve drippins. Combine 1 T drippings in a slow cooker with remaining ingredients, except cooked bacon. Cover and cook on LOW 61/2 to 7 hoursor until cabbage is tender. Spoon into a serving bowl; sprinkle with reserved bacon.
