Easy Potato & Salmon Chowder

Ingredients
1 can condensed sodium reduced chicken broth(Add 1 1/2 can of water)1 1/2 cups frozen corn1 1/2 cups thinly sliced carrots 1 1/2 water1 package dry scalloped potatoes2 tsp dryed dill1 can of Evaporated 2% milk0.5 cup of all purpose flour2 6oz cans of salmon
Directions
In a 3 1/2 or 4 quart slow cooker combine chicken broth, frozen corn, carrots, water, potato mix with seasoning packet, and dill.
Cook and cover on low heat for 6-8hrs or on high for 3-4hrs.

If using low setting turn to high. In a mixing bowl whisk together cream and flour. Gradually stir cream mixture in cooker. Gentally stir in salmon. Cover and cook for 20-30min more or until thickened.

    I made this on the stove, so I mixed the scalloped potatoes seasoning with the milk in a saucepan & added it after the rest of the ingredients had cooked. I added sweet potato and used smoked salmon, it was really good. Next time I will follow the directions & use the slow cooker! - 12/21/13
