Oatmeal Choclate Chip Cookies

3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened3/4 cup packed brown sugar1/3 cup granulated sugar1 egg2 tbsp water2 tsp vanilla extract3/4 cup All-Purpose or Whole Wheat flour3/4 tsp baking soda2.5 cup Oats1.5 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven at 350.
2. Cream butter, brown sugar,granulated sugar, egg, water & vanilla in large bowl on medium speed until light& creamy.
3. Combine flour, baking soda & salt. Add to creamed mixture, beating on low speed until combined. Stir in remaining ingredients.
4. Drop dough on greased or parchment lined sheet/s. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes or until light golden. Cool on rack for 5 minutes, then transfer to rack to cool completely.
VARIATION: Replace chocolate chips with raisins.
**Underbake for chewy cookie or bake longer for crisp cookie.
Serving Size: Makes about 3 - 4 dozen cookies
