Microwave Cracker Jack

Ingredients
16 cups popped popcorn1 cup dry roasted peanuts1 cup packed brown sugar1 stick butter (1/2 cup)1/4 cup light corn syrup1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp baking soda
Directions
Place popped corn and peanuts in large paper gracery bag. In a large microwaveable bowl mix butter, salt, corn syrup, and brown sugar. Microwave until mixture boils, stir then cook 2 minutes more. Remove from microwave mix in baking soda until it foams up and is frothy. Pour over pop corn in bag, fold down top and shake to coat corn. Put bag in microwave cook for 1 minute, shake. Microwave for 1 minute, and shake. Microwave 30 seconds and shake. Microwave 30 seconds and shake. Pour out on sheet pan to cool. Makes 16 servings of about 1 cup each.
