Nanny's Whole Grain Belgum Waffles

Ingredients
1 cup Flour, whole grain 0.24 cup Barley Flour 0.5 cup Oats 1 tsp cinnamon0.25 tsp Salt 3 tsp Baking Powder1 tbsp Milled Flax0.5 tsp Nutmeg, ground 1/3 Cup Splenda1.75 Cups Milk, 1%3 Egg Whites2 tbsp Olive Oil 2 Eggs
Directions
Heat waffle iron, spray with cooking spray right before you are ready to add dough. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix liquid ingredients in a medium bowl. Add liquid to dry ingredients slowly. To make a thinner mix add a little more milk. For Belgium waffles the mix should be thick, not pourable. Add 2/3 cup mixture in waffle iron, smooth around so mix will cover iron when lid is closed. Cook until golden brown. Makes 5 large Belgium waffles.
