Whole Grain Oatmeal Fruit Bars

1 Cup Whole Grain Pastry Flour1 Cup Rolled Oats1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar1/4 Tsp Baking Soda1/2 Cup Butter or Spread1/2 Can Light Cherry Pie Filling** Can substitute any pie filling for your taste.
Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes
Makes Approx 15 Bars if using 9 x 5 pan
Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda in bowl. Soften butter and add to flour mixture. Use fork to blend together till all is moist. Place 3/4 mixture into pan. Press into bottom. I used glass cooking dish so no greasing was necessary. Spread pie filling on top. Cover filling with left over flour mixture.
Bake for 25 minutes at 350 F. Let cool, cut and serve. Great for kids lunches or snack.
