Lemon Cream Cheese cookies

Ingredients
8 oz light cream cheese1 1/2 cups margarine (3 sticks)1 1/2 cups sugar2 large eggszest from one lemon (1 TBS)juice from one lemon (2 -3 TBS)4 1/2 cups flour2 tsp baking powder1 cup of your favorite jam or whatever is on hand
Directions
Cream together the cream cheese and margarine. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix. Add lemon zest and juice and mix well. Then add baking powder and flour and mix til incorporated well. Chill a couple of hours. Make small balls and flatten slightly on UNgreased cookie sheets. Make an indentation with your thumb or finger, and put a bit of jam in that space. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes.
Serving Size: Makes about 80 cookies.
