Ingredients
Directions
1 1/2 c. warm Water1/4 c. Honey1 tbsp. Active Dry Yeast2 tsp sea salt3 1/2 c. Whole Wheat Flour2 tbsp. olive Oil1 c. Walnut coarsly chopped
In a large bowl, combine the warm water, honey, yeast and salt. The water should feel hot to the touch but not scalding, like hot bathwater. Stir and let the yeast dissolve. Whisk in flour, oil and half the walnuts. Then, using a wooden spoon, or some other strong, large spoon, stif in the rest of the flour and walnuts. You will have a sticky dough, stiff enough to form a ball but somewhat softer than the usual bread dough. Pat it into a ball and put it back in its bowl. Cover the bowl with a lid (not airtight) and leave the dough to rise for 3-4 hours; it will rise until it collapses. At this poin you can shape your loaf and bake your bread. Bake at 350 Degrees for 35 minutes to an hour, until done.

At what temperature and for how long do we bake the bread? - 7/24/11
Reply from CHILDOFCHRIST (7/24/11)
When this recipe was given to me, I failed to get the temp or bake time. :) But, 350 is standard and about 35-60 minutes should be enough time. I'll have to try it again and find out exactly what works.
