Low Sodium Easy Stuffed Peppers - Slow Cooker

3lbs Ground Turkey3 cups Rice, uncooked9 Large Peppers 1 recipe of My Tomato Sauce or 7.5 cups of low sodium marinara8 cups of canned tomatoes no salt added
Cut tops off and remove seeds from peppers. Wash peppers. Mix rice and turkey together. Fill peppers 3/4 full with meat filling. Place filled peppers in crock pot (I use 2 crocks to cook all the peppers). Finish filling peppers with tomato sauce. Then finish filling crocks with canned tomatoes. Cook for 10 hours on low or until rice is cooked.
Serving Size: Makes 18 servings (1/2 pepper)
