Hungry Girl Cinna-Apple Oatmeal

Ingredients
6 Fuji Apples3 tbsp Brown Sugar1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon1 1/2 cups Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain1 cup Almond Breeze Almond Milk, Unsweetened Vanilla2 tbsp Maple Syrup1/2 tsp Salt2 tbsp Brummel & Brown, Original Spread made with Yogurt
Directions
In a large bowl, mix apples with 1 tbsp of brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Stir to coat apples well. Transfer to the crock pot.

In the empty bowl, combine all remaining ingredients except the butter (oats, milk, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, syrup, and salt). Add 1 cup water and mix well.

Add oat mixture to the crock pot, and gently stir. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 7 hours.

Add butter and mix well once time is up.

Serving Size: Makes 5 1-cup servings

    Had one pound of apples after peeling, -Was wondering if this would work with old fashioned oats vs steel cut but gave it a try. It was creamy and good. Sweetness just right. Used "no sugar" syrup and monk fruit granulated sugar. Will make again - 9/3/17
