YES! I cooked the chicken with the salsa in my crockpot, then assembled--these are GREAT--taste, texture, simplicity...what more could a girl want?!?! - 12/3/11

I tried this recipe it was fantastic. My adjustments were that I just cooked in a frying pan, diced the chicken instead of shred it & added a chopped onion & i added a fajita season to it. We also added a dollop of sour cream to it once it was done baking. It added a few more calories but worth it - 11/30/11

i would think you could cook the chicken in a crock and then shred it. then add that to the tortillas. - 9/27/11

Loved it! Found the bottom very chickeny, so I would suggest layering it more or placing the tortilla flat, placing on the toppings, cover with another tortilla, cut into sections and then cook it. Delicious! Definitely a favorite! - 3/30/12

Next time I make Chef Meg's slow-cooker salsa Chicken I'm going to try this with the leftovers - sounds like they would go hand in hand. - 12/10/11

Sorry. I should clarify. Is it possible to put the chicken and salsa in the Crock Pot and make it? Would that make it more tender or would that just ruin it? - 9/21/11

This was good! I've also used the same ingredients and just layered in 9x13 baking dish like a lasagna and baked-- didn't feel like doing all the rolling-- it was just as good and seemed like an entirely different meal for the same effort :-) - 4/22/21

I am not a fan of salsa so I used chili sauce and it was very good. Add 10 calories per cone for chili sauce. - 9/3/20
