1 red onion, diced1 garlic clove, crushed200 grams tofu, cubes1 tbsps plain or rice flour100ml veg stock50 grams button mushrooms100 grams baby carrots150ml red wine1 tbsps tomato puree1 tbsp mixed herbs ( thyme, parsley,chives)salt and pepper
1. pan fry the onion and garlic until they start to go brown, add the beef and season with salt and pepper. continue cooking to seal the beef.
2. sprinkle over the flour and cook oout for 1min, then gradually stir in the stock.
3. adding the remaining ingredients, cover and simmer for 1hr until the meat is tender.
4. serve with fresh greens
