Mashed Squash(Butternut Squash)

Ingredients
Butternut Squash (Butternut Squash will give you about 1 cup of mashed squash per pound of squash)broth ( I mainly use chciken broth), approximately 8oz
Directions
MASHED SQUASH (butternut squash)

Take a Butternut Squash slice it lengthwise, scoop out the seeds and stringy fibers with a spoon.

Place the halves, cut side down, in a large baking dish and add broth. Bake at 375° F until you can easily pierced it wiht a knife, about 30 minutes.

Remove from baking dish, let cool, scoop out flesh with a large spoon and mash with a potato masher.

Butternut Squash will give you about 1 cup of mashed squash per pound of squash
