Absolute incredible!! I'm not sure what the vinegar does, but it definitely is the most tender I have ever tried. - 12/10/08

This turned out great! I added bacon to the recipe. Fried the bacon first, then the onions in the bacon fat, then added the floured liver and followed the recipe from there. Yes, the bacon added calories but; I'd rather have a smaller, tastier portion. Yum.. - 2/28/16

I'm an old farm girl, but I haven't cooked liver in a long time. I think the vinegar is to mitigate the strong flavor that often comes with liver. This is a very good recipe. i needed the directions about how long to cook the liver on each side and how to finish cooking it with the onions. 5 star - 11/20/09

This will be very good! I've cooked liver in a similar fashion but never with vinegar. I'm looking forward to trying this. - 5/6/08
