French Onion Soup

Ingredients
1 qt. beef stock1 t. worcestershire sauce4 med. yellow onions1/4 c. sugar1/2 c. butter (1 stick)1 1/2 t. salt2 T. flour1 slice of provolonecroutons (optional)
Directions
Pour beef stock in crock pot and set on high. Add Worcestershire sauce to crock pot. Cook onions slowly in a large skillet with butter. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes. Uncover and add salt, sugar, and flour. Stir well. Add to stock in crock pot. Cover and cook on low 4-6 hourrs.

Before serving add a few homemade croutons and top with a slice of provolone cheese. Place in microwave or under broiler to melt cheese
