Soy Sauce Substitute

Ingredients
3 Cups Water1/4 Cup Balsamic Vinegar1/4 Cup Honey or Molasses1/4 tsp black pepper1 tsp salt1/4 tsp minced ginger1/4 tsp minced garlic3 tsp Siracha sauce
Directions
Combine all ingredients except Siracha sauce in a medium sauce pan over med high heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat & simmer for approximately 1 hr until it is reduced to 1/2 cup total volume. Stir frequently. Remove from heat & stir in the Siracha sauce. A tasty low sodium alternative to soy sauce. Refrigerate.

    This stuff is amazing! I found that cooking it down to the ½cup as directed made it a bit too thick for my liking - also I left out the Siracha. I am not sure I will ever buy soy sauce again! It is that good! - 4/23/20
