homemade veg soup

Ingredients
stew meat - I used eye of round steak with fat trimmed offchopped onionfrozen veg package - celery, green pepper, corn, green beans, lima beans, red peppers, okra, and onion3 potaotes with skin chopped1 8 oz can tomato sauce1 12 0z can stewed tomatoeswater
Directions
brown stew meat with onions (IF oily drain off oil)I use a 4 quart pan with lid.
add frozen veggies, tomato sauce and tomatos stewed. Add water and let simmer all day (at least 2 hours) you can add more water if needed.

My mom would add pasta of some type, but I don't

I add a little salt and pepper while cooking, but mostly I try to cook salt free. I add a little cajun seasoning and hubby adds tabasco sauce to his.
