Crockpot Zuppa Toscana Soup

Ingredients
1 pound turkey sausage - browned & drained3 medium-sized russet potatoes - washed and chopped1 bunch fresh kale - (approx. 2 cups) - washed and chopped2 cups fat free low sodium Chicken Broth4 cups water1 cup fat free half and half3 cloves garlic - minced1 cup onion - chopped1 tsp salt1 tsp black pepper1/2 tsp cayenne pepper1 tsp smoked paprika
Directions
1. In medium-sized skillet, brown turkey sausage. Drain and set aside.
2. Line large crock pot with liner.
3. Place sliced potatoes, kale, onions, garlic, and seasonings in crock pot.
4. Add turkey sausage.
5. Add chicken broth, half and half and water to crock pot. Stir well.
6. Cover and cook on high temperature for 4 hours or until potatoes are tender. Can also cook on low temperature for 8 hours.
