Thank You Chef Meg for giving me a creative and calorie free gift idea for the people who work with me! Every year I try to do something homemade AND inexpensive for the 20 people I work with in my department. Your simmer sachet is this years gift! - 12/14/11

Giving the nutrition information for the recipe is this intended as a craft or a food.
Sure it smells good I would never drink it though. I use my old spices for sachets and fresh for recipes. I think this could be expanded to explain its intended use. - 11/26/11

I do this alot in the winter time -- helps put humidity in the air of a stale dry house. - 12/14/11

I was reading the comments from the past and can't help but chuckle. You probably use a template for the recipes so that areas are automatically filled in when entering a new recipe. . .so HELLO people, the title states this is a sachet. You don't consume it!!!! - 10/3/12

Great idea! You can use aida cloth and cross-stitch a design of one of its contents or just cross-stitch the year of giving and add your initials. - 7/27/12

Uhhhh...what do you do with this? Drink it? Or is it supposed to make your kitchen smell nice? If you don't boil it, can you put it in your underwear drawer to make things smell nice? - 11/26/11
