Indian Sour Cereal

Ingredients
1 c quinoa, millet, steel cut oats or other whole grain7 cups filtered water1 tomato, chopped1/4 c dates, chopped1/4 c unsweetened coconut, shredded4 cloves garlic, minced1 jalepeno pepper, minced1 T ginger paste, or chopped ginger1 T cumin seed, wholesalt , to taste(optonal)1 T cilantro, as garnish
Directions
Add all ingredients to pot and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until desired consistency is achieved...about an hour. Cereal should be a soupy texture when done. Garnish with cilantro if desired.
