Yogurt Oat Bars

Ingredients
• 2 cups rolled oats• 1/4 cup chopped walnuts • 3/4 cup dried cherries• 1 tsp cinnamon• 1 tsp kosher salt• 1 1/4 cups skim milk• 1 egg• 1 tsp vanilla• 1/2 cup organic vanilla yogurt• 1 oz. dark chocolate (shaved on top)
Directions
Combine oats, walnuts, salt, cherries and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Mix yogurt, egg, vanilla extract and milk in another small bowl.
Combine with oat mixture with the yogurt mixture.
Press 1/2 the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 8inch square pan.
Once pressed, sprinkle the dark chocolate shavings on top.
Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown; cut into bars when cooled.

Serving Size: makes 48 servings.

    This recipe as pictured and written is very deceiving .The size of square in the picture in no way represents 48 squares from an 8 inch pan something I think is next to impossible I baked on a cookie sheet and may get 24 thin bars They do smell great though. - 2/25/18
