WTF!! What's your cooking handicap? This turned to be a cookie! No where near toffee!! Maybe we need to specify what we consider things when we post it!!! ie.. "toffee- large dry cakey substance.. More like cookie... Not hard candy substance" - 1/31/10

This is the same recipe my mom and grandma have been using for years for "English Toffee Bars" It's not home without them! Dry them with dark chocolate, or sub in your favorite nut or dried fruit on top - 3/16/09

Do you know what toffee is? This turned out more like a big, chocolate-covered cookie. It was nothing like toffee. - 12/4/08
