Ingredients
Directions
6 sticks of imitation crab meat18 wheat saltine crackers, crushed3 stalks green onion (scallion) finely chopped, including white parts, except the stringy roots2 tbsp Earth Balance Buttery Spread3 small stalks finely chopped celery1 tsp worchestershire sauce1/4 tsp salt1/2 tsp garlic (fresh minced in the can)
Preheat oven to 350. In a food processor, process crab meat until it's finely chopped. Slightly melt butter in the microwave (about 10 seconds). Mix all ingredients together in a bowl with your hands. On a well greased cookie sheet (I just spray on a lot of nonstick spray), shape handfuls of the mixture and shape into round patties and flatten. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until tops slightly brown. Crab cakes will be flaky and soft, unlike fried ones.
