I poured a box of dry couscous in the bottom, and included the liquids from both the pineapple and mandarin orange cans. Ittasted wonderful! - 3/6/08

We'll be putting this in our chicken rotation. It was very good. I halved the ingredients and may just eyeballed the ginger - I may have put a tad too much in. I also only put one tablespoon of cornstarch and then I dredged the chicken in flour seasoned with Emeril spice - slight kick. - 1/9/09

Very good, very easy. I left out the brown sugar and left in the pineapple juice to sweeten. Then I added frozen veggies at the end. Yummy! - 6/24/08

I liked the fruity flavor, but it wasn't intense, just subtle. I put couscous in the crock pot like someone else did, but it turned to mush for me. I would make it again adding veggies, more ginger and put it over rice or cous cous cooked on the stove. - 5/11/11

The chicken did'nt take on the flavor of the fruits. Just tasted like plain chicken. - 2/25/08

This was yummy if you like sweet and sour chicken. I would change the name to sweet an sour but it deserves 5 stars non the less! - 1/22/08

As others have said, the chicken doesn't absorb the flavor of the fruit. It tasted just like chicken. I will try it again with some of the suggestions others have made. - 2/7/14

I guess I expected a little more "sweet and sour" type flavor. It's more like, kind of bland and a little acidic. The chicken didn't take up any flavor. The oranges (as I thought they would) just disintegrate. It's not bad, but not what I was looking for. - 2/11/13

Making this tonight plan to serve with brown rice to add fiber to the meal. Family thought it needed a bit of a kick so when I warmed it up for the next meal I added Asian Hot sauce. That help alot! - 5/14/10

We love chicken, and I wanted to mix it up! This recipe was fantastic and light. I used 1 tbsp of cornstarch, left out the oranges, added light soy sauce, added chopped fresh red pepper and fresh snow peas, and topped it on rice! My family loved it and we will use it regularly! Thanks so much! - 11/23/09

Very good. Easy to make. Since there are only two of us I used two boneless, skinless chicken breasts and just halved the ingredients for the rest of the recipe. Served it with mashed potatoes (hubby's request)but I'd serve with rice next time. - 2/8/08
