2 1/2 cup flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 cup shortening, 1cup peanut butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 eggs (well beaten)
Makes about 5 dozen, serving size 30 (2 cookies per person)
Combine flour, soda, powder, and salt. Cream shortening and peanut butter. Gradually add sugars and cream thoroughly. Add eggs. Combine with dry ingredients. Chill dough. Roll into balls about the size of walnuts and flatten with a fork dipped in flour.
Bake at 375 for 8-10 min.
