Hence the name you can add whatever you want. The staple of course is black beans and pinto beans then you can add anything you want or like.
Start by opening all the cans, draining the beans, then adding them to a crock pot. Cook the meat with spices and the can of tomato sauce then add it to the crock pot. Add 1 cup water and some additional spices to season well. Let cook on low for 5 hours to marry the flavors. Serve with cheese, sour cream, chips or whatever you like.
